Our catalog is growing constantly. We offer microcredentials for students, faculty, and staff. As of January 2026, there are over 200 badges, 39 issuers, and 8 pathways.
UMBC has partnered with Parchment Digital Badges for the technology behind the microcredentials. When you earn a microcredential it will automatically be issued do you through Parchment and permanently recorded so others can verify your accomplishments including schools and employers. You can visit the UMBC Parchment website to see the credentials and badges that are offered, different pathways, and also login to see your records.
