Our catalog is growing constantly. We offer microcredentials for students, faculty, and staff. As of January 2026, there are over 200 badges, 39 issuers, and 8 pathways.
UMBC has partnered with Accredible for the technology behind the microcredentials. When you earn a microcredential it will automatically be issued do you through Parchment and permanently recorded so others can verify your accomplishments including schools and employers. You can visit the UMBC Digital Badges to see the credentials and badges that are offered, different pathways, and also login to see your records.
